TEDA Dec 7, 2009, The Government of Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) and Conitech (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. have reached consensus on a new investment increase proposal. The President – Mr. A.K. Tan and Vice Chairman of TEDA Administrative Commission – Mr. Ai Yamin jointly sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in front of the media.

During the meeting, Mr. Ai Yamin said the decision of Conitech to increase its investment in TEDA, in fact, represents a fabulous birthday gift to TEDA Government in the celebration of 25 years anniversary of establishment. During these 25 years, TEDA provided its investors with a very conducive investment environment and good services. TEDA has helped its investors keep growing profitably which, in turn, contribute sustainable economic growth to TEDA.

Conitech (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. will invest another 36 million U.S. dollars in TEDA for building a world-class water purifier products manufacturing facilities. Since its inception in 2004, Conitech’s business grows rapidly and achieved many good results with the Company’s own strength and various supports from TEDA Government. In conjunction with the rapid development of Binhai New Area, Conitech seizes the opportunity to increase investment for its production capacity expansion in TEDA to cope the future demand. With the establishment of hi- technology water purifier manufacturing plant in TEDA, it marks a new milestone of success for both Conitech and TEDA Government in this strategic business zone.
